Our Story

MACH Technologies was founded by Rob Wirtz, Jason Wirtz, and John W. Wirtz II—three innovators with deep expertise in product development, equipment manufacturing, and technology commercialization. When they entered the botanical extraction market, they immediately recognized a gap: the available botanical and biomass extraction equipment lacked the efficiency, safety, and scalability needed to support long-term industry growth.

Driven by that vision, the founders developed the flagship EES Automated Ethanol Extraction System, engineered to raise the standard for throughput, automation, and operator usability. That system became the foundation of a growing product line that now spans every major step in botanical and biomass extraction—from solvent chilling, extraction, particle filtration, solvent recovery, decarboxylation, distillation, & post processing, with specialized technologies for both ethanol and hydrocarbon extraction processes, along with innovative solventless processes for trichome separation, purification, and terpene distillation processes.

Today, MACH Technologies proudly designs, fabricates, assembles, and tests all systems in its vertically integrated Michigan facility, with equipment installed across the U.S. and around the globe. Our passion for innovation continues to fuel the development of next-generation extraction solutions, empowering processors to build compliant, efficient, and profitable operations anywhere in the world.
